The other highlight is none other than the soon-to-be-introduced VW Arteon. As you’ve read on our recent feature, the New Arteon is a 5-door fastback and flagship model from VW. The car’s got an avant-garde design inside and out, along with dynamic handling. For the Malaysian market, the Arteon is offered with a 2.0l TSI, paired with a 7-speed wet clutch direct shift gearbox (DSG), along with 4MOTION all-wheel drive. Output numbers are 280PS and 350Nm.

Visitors to the show get to test drive a myriad of Volkswagen models and enjoy best rebates and deals on brand-new and pre-owned VWs. Current unbeatable deals include the ongoing Independence day (Merdeka) voucher of RM1,000 rebate for all bookings made at the event and “Starbuys” such as the Passat Comfortline 1.8TSI priced at RM114,888. 2019 Volkswagen Fest: What to expect

For the 2019 edition, the third one, the VW Fest has three dedicated sections comprising the Volks (People) section, Volks Lawn and Kombi Bazaar section. The Volks Auto section is where visitors should go to find out more and test drive Volkswagen models, and for the added convenience to those wanting to sell off their current vehicles for a Volkswagen, there will be a free car evaluation and quick loan checks by a partner bank to assist in their hire purchase applications. There are also free Volkswagen inspection checks at the Aftersales area for owners who had signed up online, and for owners to learn more about attractive Aftersales promotions and services.

Volks Lawn gives an overview of current and classic Volkswagen cars on display, a hot air balloon ride, several Instagram-able art installations and interactive game stations. Then, there’s a Volks Park, a perfect spot for visitors to feast on the variety of food truck offerings. Finally, there’s the Kombi Bazaar  and busker performances to max relax and chill out.

The Volkswagen Fest is the place to be for all things Volkswagen. So mark your calendars and head to the VW Fest for a fun-filled family fun weekend! Festive hours run from 10a – 10p, Friday to Sunday.
