In light of the slow Automotive scene domestically, UMW Toyota Motor has initiated its biggest road tour for the year: the Toyota GO 2017, the successor of last year’s WOW road tour. The Toyota Go has kicked off in early April at Aeon Kinta City, Ipoh and would continue through the month of May.

The event is Toyota Malaysia’s way of ‘bringing the showroom to the public’ so that they can see and experience the latest range of Toyota passenger cars, SUVs, pick-ups and MPVs.

For the Toyota Go in the month of May, the road tour has been scheduled for seven locations across the country, including three in East Malaysia: 6 – 7 May at Aeon Mall, Shah Alam; Boulevard Mall Outdoor Carpark, Miri, Sarawak; and Angsana Mall Johor; 12 – 13 May at East Coast AEON Mall, Kota Bharu; 13 – 14 May Sibu Gateway, Sibu, Sarawak; and 20 – 21 May East CoastStadium Darul Makmur, Kuantan and Travillion, Kuching, Sarawak.

At each Toyota Go tour,  visitors can learn more about the wide range of Toyota models available from the Toyota Sienta compact MPV to the best-selling pick-up truck, the Toyota Hilux. Test-drives are available for all the models so that visitors can find out why, at Toyota, it’s all about the drive. Those who wish to make a purchase will find that they can save money or get some extras if they book at the event.

The road tour also serves as a ‘one-stop solution’ for both owners as well as those who wish to own a Toyota vehicle. Sales consultants will be on hand to provide information on financing packages for hire-purchase loans while TopMark (a subsidiary of UMW Toyota Motor) will have offerings of quality pre-owned Toyota models and evaluate customers’ cars for trade in.

Existing owners can learn more about other 10-star benefits from UMW Toyota Motor, including Careplus packages for their servicing needs and professional repainting and repairing services at Toyota Body & Paint facilities in the country. They can also find out if their vehicle is on the list for any Special Service campaign. If an existing owner’s vehicle requires the replacement of the inflator module of the Takata airbag system, the replacement is possible to be made at any Toyota Go venue.
