2019 Porsche Macan: Ready for the Thrills

The 2019 Porsche Macan took center stage at the Sime Darby Auto Performance’s Porsche Center in Sg Besi, Kuala Lumpur, last Friday. You can own a Porsche Macan for as low as RM 5,700 a month with 360 Financing.

The 2019 Macan gets new headlights with Dynamic Light System Plus,  standard 3-D LED light panel at the rear and a brake light with four-point design. At the front, the Macan has been redesigned and now appears wider.  Wheel sizes offered range from 18-inch to 21-inch. Color options for the Macan include Mamba Green Metallic, Dolomite Silver Metallic, Miami Blue and Crayon.

Inside, there’s a range of digital possibilities through the use of the new Porsche Communication Management (PCM) system. The full-HD touchscreen is now 10.9 inches in width (previously 7.2 inches). User interface is customizable according to individual preferences, along with audio interfaces and voice control. A BOSE surround sound system is standard for full-range and dynamic sound in the cabin.

In addition, an expanded range of options with enhanced assist systems is available to choose from with the new Macan such as an optional GT sports steering, sport chrono package, heated windshield, an air ionizer and traffic assistant. 

Under the hood, the Macan houses a 2.0-liter, four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine with improved combustion chamber geometry. This means a 252 hp and a peak torque of 370 Nm. It takes 6.7 seconds to hit the century mark.

For a more sturdy ride handling, the 2019 Macan gets newly tuned Chassis that takes ful advantage of the all-whell drive Porsche Traction Management.
