2019 Porsche Macan with Premium Package, retails from RM455k

Porsche Malaysia is set to unveil the 2019 Macan with Premium Package and plenty of enhanced features. The 2019 Porsche Macan comes with a price tag of RM455,000.

New items for the Macan include driver and front passenger 14-way power seats with memory function, comfort lighting, Power Steering Plus, Park Assist including reversing camera, automatic dimming mirrors, and BOSE Surround sound system.

Under the hood, the Macan has a 2.0-liter, four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine with improved combustion chamber geometry. This means a 252 hp and a peak torque of 370 Nm. It takes 6.7 seconds to hit the century mark.

When it comes to looks, the 2019 Macan has fresh headlights with Dynamic Light System Plus,  standard 3-D LED light panel at the rear and a brake light with four-point design. At the front, the Macan has been redesigned and now appears wider. There are four body colors: Mamba Green Metallic, Dolomite Silver Metallic, Miami Blue and Crayon. Wheel sizes go from standard 18s all the way up to 21s (optional).

The cabin comprises a range of digital possibilities through the use of the new Porsche Communication Management (PCM) system. The full-HD touchscreen is now 10.9 inches in width (previously 7.2 inches). As in the Panamera and Cayenne, the user interface can be adapted to suit personal requirements via predefined tiles. Fully interconnected as standard, the new system features mobile phone preparation, two audio interfaces and intelligent voice control.

In addition, an expanded range of options with enhanced assist systems is available to choose from with the new Macan. The optional GT sports steering wheel echoes the style of the Porsche 911. A mode switch integrated into the steering wheel, including sport response button, is part of the optional sport chrono package that can be fitted in the Macan. And that’s not it, Porsche has extended the list of options designed to enhance convenience, which now includes a heated windshield and an air ionizer.

Last but not least, the driving dynamics are much improved thanks to an overhauled chassis.
