After the Q range, A7 Sportback and A8 L, it’s time for the Audi A6 in eight-generation guise to shine on its Malaysian debut.

In looks, the A6 shares plenty of similarities with the A7 and the obvious difference is likely nitty-gritty stuff and the price tag. As a business class sedan, you’ll get a long hood, long wheelbase and shorthangs; a thing in automobiles these days. Its overall dimensions are extended compared to its predecessor. Then there’s the low-slung Singleframe grille, flat headlights with Matrix LEDs and contoured air inlets.

The profile is defined by the taut roof line, which tapers into flat C-pillars, characterizes the silhouette. From the rear, the short trunk lid ends in a curved separating edge for optimized aerodynamics, plus a striking chrome strip accentuates the three-dimensional sculpture when viewed from behind.

Interior-wise, it’s larger and better than the previous generation, translating to wider headroom and shoulder room, however boot space remains at 530 liters. The center console is directed at the driver; the top MMI touch response display, which is tilted slightly to the right. The customizable contoured seats have numerous adjustment functions, while the interior gets all the light needed with availability of the panoramic glass sunroof. New for the premium sedan is the MMI touch response system, an intuitive all-digital operation and personalization tailored for the driver.
