Interior-wise, the MiTo gets the Uconnect system with 5″ color touchscreen, which can be paired to an optional navigation system. Updated interior features in a nutshell include; four upholstery combinations and three brand-new dashboards.
The range of engines has also been expanded for the MiTo. Two turbodiesel engines – 85 HP 1.3 JTDM (updated in E5+) and the 120 HP 1.6 JTDM – and five petrol engines: the new 105 HP 0.9 Turbo TwinAir making its debut on the MiTo, 70 HP 1.4, 78 HP 1.4, 135 HP 1.4 MultiAir Turbo Petrol (with manual gearbox or Alfa TCT) and the 170 HP 1.4 MultiAir Turbo Petrol.
Alfa Romeo 4C rekindles the marque’s sporting past
Last, but not least, the Compact Sports car from Alfa Romeo, 4C. The 4C is based on Alfa Romeo’s great sporting past and variants such as, the 8C and 6C.
The Alfa Romeo 4C is designed and built to achieve a weight-to-power ratio of under 4 kg/HP, typical of an authentic supercar. Rather than high engine output, the 4C focuses on reduced weight to deliver maximum agility and top performance.
Designed by Alfa Romeo engineers and made at the Maserati plant in Modena, this captivating coupé with two racing bucket seats uses materials and design solutions like rear-wheel drive, carbon and aluminium derived from the 8C Competizione along with technologies from Alfa Romeo’s latest models, all thoroughly revised to maximize the new car’s sporting appeal. The new 1750 Turbo petrol engine with direct injection and aluminium block, the sophisticated “Alfa TCT” dry twin clutch transmission and the Alfa DNA driving mode selector with the brand-new Race mode prove the point.
For the Frankfurt show, the Alfa Romeo 4C is offered with refreshed chrome-plated grille, a new Anthracite Grey body color and burnished front light cluster finish. Interior offerings include a 5-inch color touchscreen, four upholstery combinations and three new dashboards. A lower-spec 0.9 Turbo TwinAir engine that produces 105 hp is paired to the desirable compact sports for the first time.
