The Aston Martin Lagonda Vision Concept, previously displayed at 2018 Geneva Motor Show, will star alongside the Rapide E, the brand’s first electric sports car, at Aston Martin Mayfair in London, from 26 – 27 June.
The Aston Martin Lagonda, relaunched as the world’s first zero emission luxury brand in 2018, is targeted for world debut in 2021 as the world’s first luxury electric vehicle company. Based in Gaydon, England, Aston Martin Lagonda designs, creates and exports cars which are sold in 53 countries around the world.
The Aston Martin Rapide E
Currently on the market, the Rapide E is the first battery electric vehicle (BEV) produced by Aston Martin. It will enter production at the end of the year at the company’s second manufacturing facility and the marques Home of Electrification, St Athan which is based in Wales.
With a limited run of just 155, the same number as the vehicle’s electrically limited top-speed, the project has been completed in partnership with Williams Advanced Engineering.
The Aston Martin Rapide E features twin electric motors that produce 610PS and 950Nm of torque, Rapide E will be capable of reaching 0 – 100 km/h in about four seconds. With performance characteristics tuned to match or exceed those of the original V12 model.
