|The Audi A3 1.6 TDI Ultra is the most fuel efficient car yet by the four-ring brand. The five-door A3 1.6 TDI ultra as a premium compact car offers lots of space and an impeccable comfort level. And the A3 TDI ultra variant comes in two versions: 3-door compact and 5-door Sportback; similar to the A1 variant.|
The Audi A3 1.6 TDI ultra’s fuel efficiency is made possible thanks to the incorporated lightweight elements such as, multi-material body and all vehicular systems. Weighing in at 1,205 kilograms, the A3 1.6 TDI Ultra has the S Line side sills, a body that’s lowered by 15mm and 16-inch wheels with 205/55 R16 tyres for optimized rolling resistance as well as a longer final drive ratio.
Inside, the A3 1.6 TDI Ultra has the standard Audi radio and your basic air-conditioning and power windows. A 1.6 turbo-diesel powerplant powers the compact to a 110 hp and pushes top speed up to 200km/h. But, more impressive is the fact that the car consumes just 3.2 liters of diesel per 100 kilometers and emits only 85 grams of CO2 emissions per kilometer. Every bit as impressive: it truly excels at long-distance drives. Its 50-liter fuel tank facilitates trips in excess of 1,500 kilometers. Audi has announced that the ultra would be available for upcoming petrol versions.
In efforts to lower running costs while benefiting the environment, the ultra diesel is the third variant alongside Audi’s e-tron plug-in hybrid and g-tron (natural gas) variants.
The Audi A3 1.6 TDI ultra goes on sale now at a base price, starting from 25,200 Euros.
