Audi A7 Sportback makes quiet local entry 

Audi Malaysia has just announced the entry of the A7 Sportback Gran Turismo for local market. Prepare to set aside RM RM 609,900 for this beauty!

As a Gran Turismo, the A7 Sportback carries that fastback look with all the recognizable four-ring marque signatures.

Up front, the wide and low Singleframe grille, boldly contoured air inlets and flat front end convey more GT features. The A7 has standard HD Matrix headlights for the domestic market, along with 20-inch wheels. Profile of the car is defined by sweeping silhouette of a Coupe. From the rear, there’s a tapered design with a flat light strip that patches to the rear lights. The rearlights are made up of 13 vertical segments.

Inside, the cabin is lively with colors, upholstery materials and inlays that underscore the aesthetics. The local A7 Sportback gets Valcona leather. Furthermore, the contour ambient lighting package traces the contours and subtly highlights the space.


The 10.1-inch upper display in combination with MMI navigation plus is tilted toward the driver. With its black panel optics and framed in a graphite gray aluminum clasp, it almost disappears into the dashboard when switched off. The body supporting the clasp is itself a geometric sculpture. The display’s user interface appears as soon as the car is opened. The driver immediately stares at the 8.6-inch instrument cluster.  Most prominent Audi features are the MMI touch plus, Bang  & Olufsen Premium Sound System and a myriad of connectivity and customization options.

Exterior design

The Audi A7 Sportback has a 3.0-liter TFSI V6 paired a seven-speed S tronic , featuring a mild hybrid system to push  250 kW and 500 Nm. It sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.3 seconds and has a top speed of 250 km/h.

As for handling, the GT comprises of the electronic chassis program, along with dynamic-all-wheel steering and the rear axle’s spindle drive, to ensure tip-top agility and stability.
