Volkswagen Passengers Cars Malaysia (VPCM) awarded a lucky VW owner with a cash gift of RM66,888, from the recent CNY campaign. The VW CNY “Biggest Angpow of the Year” of RM66,888 went to Syed Mohammed Sohaimi, who hails from Kuantan. The winner qualified for the promotion after purchasing a Vento 1.2L TSI. The campaign ran from 1 January until 15 February.
In addition, customers who purchased a Volkswagen during the promotion period were also be rewarded with cash-back angpows ranging from RM388 up to RM1,288.
Domestic carmakers Perodua recently gave out a brand new Perodua Alza to college student Ahmad Irfan Ismail, who was chosen as the lucky draw grand prize winner of Perodua’s first and biggest outdoor event, MYPerodua Nation carnival. The carnival was held in Shah Alam from 20 – 22 January. The event held at Shah Alam was the inaugural campaign. Perodua has plans for another one in the third quarter of the year in another region.
“We are pleased to announce that our second carnival will be held by the third quarter of this year. This time we hope to bring our carnival to another region, as part of our initiative to meet all our customers, nationwide. The details will be shared in the next couple of months,” Perodua Sales’ Managing Director, Dato’ Dr. Zahari Husin said.
The MYPerodua Nation was participated by over 20,000 people. During the event visitors were able to enjoy great savings for purchases made at the carnival, while spending quality time with their families by participating in the various fun activities which included games, live concerts, an outdoor cinema viewing etc.
Aside from the grand prize winner, five other winners received their lucky draw prizes. This was the final batch of 15 winners from the UFirst Anniversary Lucky Draw contest held end of last year. In line with its tagline to provide customers with ‘Better & Brighter days’, the winners were given a chance to choose their preferred prizes such as household & electrical appliances, smart phones and travel or service vouchers worth RM2,600. UFirst is Perodua’s app-based customer loyalty program.
