Compared to the previous generation, the new 1 Series doesn’t differ much in terms of looks. The front fascia layout consists of the standard black mesh kidney grille, three part air inlets. customary headlights, front indicators, the signature BMW light rings and rounded foglights (reduced more or less from the 125i to the 116i). At the side, the indicators now integrated into the exterior side mirrors and stout shoulder line give an impression of a premium finish. From the rear, the rearlights are spaced further apart to give the car a wider and sportier appeal. Tyre and wheel sizes are from 17-inch to 18-inch for the 125i Sport line, and even up to 19-inch as an option. M Performance parts and accessories are purchased separately or in recommended packages.
