BMW Malaysia today announced the X3 with M Sport variant for the domestic premium market. The locally-assembled X3 M Sport retails at RM 313,800 plus RM 15,000 for the M Sport package and is limited to just 120 units in the country.

Based off the X3 xDrive30i, X3 M Sport has a spruced up exterior thanks to the M Sport package items like the 20-inch M light alloy wheels in Double Spoke Style 699 M, M Sport suspension, M Sport brake and M body styling, predominantly the high-gloss Shadow Line roof rails. From the rear, there’s the M bumper with tailpipe finishers in gloss chrome.

The SAV carries a 3.0-liter bi-turbo to push 252 hp and a peak torque of 350 Nm. A zero – 100km/h mark takes about 6.3 seconds. The engine is paired up to an 8-Speed Steptronic automatic transmission.

Everything on the Inside is carried forward with added M stuff such as M Sport leather steering, door sill finishers in chrome  with M emblem, M pedals and Vernasca leather upholstery in black with blue contrast stitchings. There’s of course the BMW Navigation, ConnectedDrive, triple-zone automatic climate control air-conditioning and an electric tailgate.

Standard safety features now include six airbags and 2 ISOFIX seat attachments.

The BMW X3 M Sport is offered in these colors: Alpine White, Carbon Black, Glacier Silver and Phytonic Blue.

The BMW X3 xDrive30i with M Sport hits showrooms on 27 September.
