Kia Sorento in updated guise joins Naza Kia’s line-up

  Naza Kia Malaysia today added the facelifted Kia Sorento to replace the aged large SUV in conjuction with the upcoming Kia Customer Day from 16 – 17 March. With the updated Kia Sorento, Naza Kia has its second variant of the year amongst the 6,7 new Kia variants to be introduced in due time. Kia Sorento: Powertrain Incorporating a 2.4-litre DOHC dual continuous variable valve timing (DCVVT) Thetha II engine, the All-Wheel Drive (AWD) Kia Sorento can deliver 176 PS and 227 Nm of torque. A six-speed automatic transmission with Manumatic provides inputs to the wheels. Kia Sorento: What’s new on the outside The updated Kia Sorento’s outside aesthetics are inherited from the current Sorento, saved for the “Tiger Nose” front grille, new LED daytime running lights, vertical-axis fog lamps with static bending lights. The sides take on LED turn-signals and chrome-plated door handles with pocket lights. At the rear, the large SUV gets the most add-ons such as, new tailgate, reshaped LED combi. lights, a body-colored matching bumper, vertical fog lamps and a spoiler. In all, there are 33 new additions all round the latest Kia Sorento.   Mercedes-Benz introduced the revised its E-Class Coupe and Cabriolet versions that incorporate BlueDIRECT four-cylinder engines with updated technology and assistance systems at the start of the year. Mercedes-Benz E-Class Coupe and Cabriolet exterior Desirable amongst the mid- to upper-class, the E-Class Coupe and 4-seater Cabriolet (open-top) feature a refreshed exterior design and pertinent interior upgrades. The eDrive technology The eDrive powertrain consists of the electric motor and lithium ion battery. Further, the eDrive powertrain provides drivers with a realistic range estimate for their journeys before they even set out. The internet-enabled navigation system is based on a dynamic range display which takes into account all the relevant parameters for the planned route and is therefore able to provide precise, reliable range predictions. In addition to the battery charge level, driving style, use of electric convenience systems and choice of drive modes such as COMFORT, ECO PRO and ECO PRO+, the calculations also take into account route topography and the current traffic situation.
