Petronas supports bikers’ convoy to the Malaysian MotoGP

 A group of riders comprising 500cc motorbikes from Klang Valley were invited to experience the performance of PETRONAS Syntium Moto lubricants in conjunction with the group’s convoy from Shah Alam to Sepang for Malaysian MotoGP event recently. About one hundred motorbike riders were flagged off by PDB’s Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Amir Hamzah Azizan at the workshop in Shah Alam. Honda Civic Hybrid now costs lesser

 Following the Malaysian Government’s tax incentives proposal for hybrid vehicles recently, Honda Malaysia Sdn Bhd has announced another price restructuring of their current Honda Civic hybrid variant. Only last week, UMW Toyota held a similar initiative for its Prius line-up. The two top-selling Japanese marques in Malaysia have reacted positively to the extended tax incentives and would offer their hybrid range from now until 31 December 2011 at a more affordable pricing to appease potential buyers. Ferrari Owners’ Club achieves largest Asian gathering & MBOR milestone

 The Ferrari Owners’ Club Malaysia (FOCM) and local Ferrari importer NAZA Italia put their names on the Malaysian Book of Records (MBOR) when it successfully organized a record breaking event of having the most number of Ferrari cars, 144 to be exact, that congregated at the Pavillion Kuala Lumpur over the weekend. Toyota Prius sees a reduction of RM35,000 in view of National budget

Mazda publishes details of future powertrains

Mazda Motor Corporation has published new details about its next-generation powertrain technologies with the name SKYACTIV. These include completely new engines, transmissions, bodies and platforms that will be launched starting in 2011 and make major reductions in fuel consumption and CO2 emissions for all Mazda models possible. This process will initially concentrate on lightweight construction as a core value of the brand, along with the optimization of conventional powertrain technologies.
