Proton reports 12.5% spike despite TIV dip

Since the joint partnership with Chinese Automakers Geely, National carmakers Proton has reported a spike in sales of 12.5 percent for three quarters of the year. The percentage translates to 56,297 units sold, compared to 50,091 units in the same duration last year.

Honda Jazz and City Hybrids exceed targeted bookings

Honda Malaysia has reported better-than-expected sales for the recently introduced Jazz Hybrid and City Hybrid models. The two models combined for a total number of bookings of 1,200 units, as at end of September.

The Honda BR-V has recorded an approximate sales total of 11,000 units, six months since it came out. The total has exceeded its annual sales target of 10,000 units, according to a press statement by Honda Malaysia.
