Chevrolet is going big at the Los Angeles Auto Show by displaying three new vehicles at a major Auto show for the first time. The three new Chevy vehicles are the 2018 Colorado ZR2, the most-capable off-road truck ever, the redesigned 2018 Equinox and 017 Spark ACTIV.

In related news, Chevrolet’s 2017 vehicle line-up has garnered a number of accolades in the automotive media and consumer survey circles. The bowtie brand secured as many as 18 awards, led by five awards for the new Bolt EV.

Offering an EPA-estimated 383 km (238 miles) of range on a full charge at a starting price of $37,495, the Bolt EV earned a position on the 2017 Car and Driver 10Best Cars list. It was also named Best New Car to Buy by Green Car Reports, Green Car of the Year by Green Car Journal and Best EV by Car Connection. The Chevrolet Bolt EV’s comprehensive award list include; Car and Driver’s 10Best Cars, Car Connection’s Best EV to Buy amd Best Hatchback to Buy, Green Car Reports’ Best New Car to Buy, Green Car Journal’s Green Car of the Year and Hispanic Motor Press’ Best EV/Plug-In Vehicle.

The Camaro 1LE and Corvette Grand Sport were also named to the coveted Car and Driver 10Best Cars list. It was the second consecutive nod to the Camaro and the third time in four years on the list for the Corvette. Here’s a list of awards secured by the Camaro: Car and Driver’s 10Best Cars and Hispanic Motor Press’ Best American Muscle. The Corvette, no stranger in the Performance car category, took up as many as three awards, namely AutoGuide.com’s Reader’s Choice Sports Car of the Year, Car and Driver’s 10Best Cars, and Consumer Guide Automotive’s Best Buy (Premium Sporty/Performance Car).

Chevrolet’s most recognizable pick up, the Colorado managed to capture Consumer Guide Automotive’s Best Buy (Compact Pickup) and Hispanic Motor Press’ Best Pickup Medium Size awards.

Six Chevrolet vehicles earned Consumer Guide Automotive Best Buy awards, while Impala and Tahoe received back-to-back Kelley Blue Book Best Buy Award recognition in their respective categories for the past two years. The Impala took home Consumer Guide Automotive’s Best Buy (Large Car) and Kelley Blue Book’s 2017 Best Buy Award (Full-Size Car)

Lastly, the large Sedan Malibu, Silverado and Volt are recognized in these media and consumer award categories, including Consumer Guide Automotive’s Best Buy (Midsize Car), Consumer Guide Automotive’s Best Buy (Large Pickup), Kelley Blue Book’s 2017 Best Buy Award (Full-Size SUV) and Consumer Guide Automotive’s Best Buy (Electric Car).
