Citroen C1 Furio rear
Citroen is introducing the latest rendition of its sub-compact model C1, the C1 Furio, as part of the marque’s sporting credentials. The sporty Citroen C1 Furio is targeted towards entry buyers and young drivers with an affordable price tag.

Available as a three door hatchback, the new C1 Furio boasts striking exterior styling to appeal to younger drivers wanting a sporty look, but without them having to pay a premium for a more powerful engine. Two powertrain options are available: VTi 68 manual and PureTech 82 manual.

Based on the existing ‘Feel’ trim level, C1 Furio benefits from the addition of black 15-inch ‘Planet’ alloy wheels, bold exterior graphics, plus Sunrise Red door mirrors and wheel center caps to provide an eye-catching contrast to the Lipizzan White or Carlinite Grey metallic body color paint options. A rear diffuser and centered exhaust outlet complete the sporty exterior.

Inside, C1 Furio benefits from the addition of ‘Wave’ grey cloth upholstery and a rev counter.

Based on the C1, the C1 Furio version offers everyday comfort, thanks to its compact dimensions, manoeuvrability and top-quality comfort of its suspension and roadholding. The driver’s peace of mind has been increased with the introduction of the optional Active City Brake, the automatic urban braking technology that avoids collisions at low speed; similar on the standard C1.

The new C1 Furio joins Citroën’s long line of motor sport inspired small cars, including the 1990s Saxo Furio, plus cars like the AX Sport and C2 ‘by Loeb’.

The C1 Furio is offered in Lipizzan White and Carlinite Grey metallic color options.  The standard C1 model, however, comes with trendy color combinations and finishes. Three finishes valid for the C1 include Live, Feel and Shine to go with eight bodywork hues; Caldera Black, Gallium Grey, Carlinite Grey, Blue Lagoon, Lipizan White, Smalt Blue, Scarlet Red, Sunrise Red. Up top, there are three roof colors which comprise of the Blue Lagoon, Gallium Grey and Caldéra Black (two-tone versions), along with Black, Grey, Sunrise Red canopy colors.
