Ferrari GTC4 Lusso makes Korean debut

Ferrari GTC4 Lusso Korean premiere
Having made its Far East debut in Japan in mid-May, the Ferrari GTC4 Lusso has now made its descent on the Korean Capital City of Seoul in late June. It was the Ferrari GTC4 Lusso’s first ever appearance in K-Pop land, following its International premiere at the Geneva Motorshow in March.

Ferrari held its official GTC4 Lusso launch event displaying a Bianco colored GTC4 Lusso at W Seoul Walkerhill hotel. A display zone was specially created to showcase the GTC4 Lusso’s powerful V12 engine and suspension as well as the special interior leathers.

Ferrari GTC4 Lusso hails a major evolution of the sporting Grand Tourer concept. This is a car designed for clients wanting to experience the pleasure of driving a Ferrari anywhere, anytime, be it on short spins or long journeys, high-alttitude roads or city streets, alone or in the company of three lucky passengers. Ferrari’s four-seater super sport integrates rear-wheel steering with four-wheel drive, which signifies another major advancement for the versatile sporty Grand Tourer concept. With a revolutionary new handling system that combines 4-wheel-drive and 4-wheel-steering, the GTC4 Lusso is the best in class across all performance standards.

Thanks to a 6,262cc V12 that punches out a maximum of 690 cv at a 8,000 rpm and peak torque of 697 Nm at 5,750 rpm, with 80% available at just 1,750 rpm, the GTC4 Lusso delivers an astonishing top speed of 335 km/h and sprints from 0 to 100 km in 3.4 seconds. Both its 13.5:1 compression ratio and its 2.6 kg/cv weight-to-power-ratio set new records for the category

Seamless integration of its complex vehicle dynamics control systems means the powerful GTC4 Lusso performs brilliantly in all driving situations, but really comes into its own on challenging low-grip surfaces, delivering a consistent sense of stability and comfort.

Based on the latest, fourth generation of the Side Slip Control, the new Ferrari-patented 4RM-S system integrates and controls the 4RM Evo four-wheel drive’s PTU (Power Transfer Unit), the rear-wheel steering, E-Diff and SCM-E active damping. The super sport’s exclusive 4RM-S system (four-wheel-drive with four-wheel-steering) delivers in sublime performance in any driving conditions, from snowy mountains to city streets.

The Ferrari GTC4 Lusso is a further refinement of the shooting brake coupé, reinterpreting the concept with an extremely streamlined, tapered shape that underscores its perfect balance of elegance and sportiness whilst still incorporating large comfortable rear seats and a big enough boot space.
