In line with its company-wide restructuring and dealership rebuilding, National Carmakers Proton has announced the first ever 4S Center (Sales, Spares, After-sales, Body and Paint). The new Proton 4S center, ran by Setia Gemilang, was officiated by Proton’s CEO Dr Li Chunrong, Deputy CEO Radzaif Mohamed, VP Sales and Marketing Abdul Rashid Musa and senior management personnel.

 

 

The new Proton 4S center marks a new standard set to ensure sales and service platform are in tandem with the National make’s business model and objective to provide a new enhanced customer experience.

Dr Li said, “I am pleased that the upgrading exercise of the new 4S and 3S outlets are progressing well especially with excellent team effort displayed by our Dealers together with the team from PROTON. The new set up will stand to attract more people to the outlet, as consumers usually like to see and experience new things, new surroundings, new look and feel; and better ambience.”

As the first 4S center, the new Proton dealership has various color combination inside and out to depict youthfulness and modernity. The new look with new elements incorporate new colors that represent global lifestyle, technology driven, youthful exuberance and caring attitude. Inside, the new-look Proton dealership has a refreshed reception area, lifestyle wall graphics and more.

 

 

 

 

 

The usual amenities of a new Proton dealership, which becomes a standard practice, include a large service area with 14 bays, sales delivery bay, 12 body and paint bays, fifty parking spots, kids’ corner, customer lounge fit for 30-pax and coffee area and free Wi-Fi. In all, the new 4S center covers 2 acres of land, with the  main display floor able to hold up to 11 cars.

The new dealership represents part of the Proton’s direction to upgrade its outlets nationwide to a total of 109 outlets of 3S and 4S status, by October this year in preparation of the much-anticipated SUV. As at 31 May, Proton has 82 outlets ready for upgrades to 3S and 4S. This is a 75% achievement against target, a feat done in 5 months, two months ahead of schedule.
