Harley-Davidson Kuala Lumpur, under the stewardship of Naza Group of Companies, has introduced new models for the current year, comprising of the new Roadster 1200 CX, Softail Slim S and CVO Pro Street Breakout.
Let’s start with the Harley-Davidson Roadster 1200 CX, the bike that comes with blacked-out styling details, slammed bars, chopped rear fender, race-inspired graphics, a finned timer cover, slotted black exhaust shields and more. The Roadster motorcycle gives you the attitude of a garage-built custom, as well as modern features.
The new two-up seat is low-profile, but designed to keep the rider comfortable all day. And the premium suspension is built to absorb road impacts. The Roadster has plenty of stoplight-to-stoplight muscle, but the places this machine truly shines is in the corners. It’s the only Sportster in the line with inverted front forks. And there’s a new 43mm front suspension with cartridge damping and a new steering geometry that make for easy handling and a quick response to your inputs. Additionally, dual disc front brakes with floating rotors and ABS front and rear ensure reliable stopping power.
Harley-Davidson Softail Slim S
The Softail Silm S is a perfect blend of classic, raw bobber style and the power of a High Output Twin Cam 103B Engine.
The Softail Slim is a study in contrasts, thanks to the Hollywood bars, slim rear wheel, cat eye console and floor boards. In addition, the bike gets a High Output Twin Cam 103B engine, hidden suspension and great brakes, as well as bright chrome with blacked-out metal and laced wheels with stamped black rims.
Take a look at the horseshoe oil tank adorning the Softail models. It’s the same one you’d see on a restored dresser from the ‘50s, or a radical Panhead chopper from the ‘70s. And you’ll find it right now on future Harley-Davidson models that still on the drawing board. Other companies may be content to imitate bits and pieces from Harley’s long history. On a Softail motorcycle every part down to the axle nut cover comes from an authentic tradition.
The air-cooled 45 degrees V-Twin engine at the heart of every Softail model is a prime example of what makes a Harley-Davidson motorcycle more satisfying.
The venerable Softail frame results in one of the most fun rides in all of motorcycling. Meanwhile, the dazzling wheels are wrapped in premium Dunlop rubber. At the same time, the low seats give the rider a confident feeling of being a part of the motorcycle.
Harley-Davidson CVO Pro Street Breakout
The CVO Pro Street Breakout is all about dark style and massive torque. It features cuttingedge finishes with show-stopping paint and styling details fender to fender. The Aggressor wheel mounts to a 240mm rear tyre. The forward controls, new race-inspired seat and handlebar create a riding position perfect for prowling. And a Screamin’ Eagle Twin Cam 110B powerplant with heavy breather intake, inverted forks and new dual-disc front brakes mean the performance matches the power of its style. It’s our top-of-the-line take on long, dark American muscle.
All three new Harleys are now available at the Harley KL showroom, prices range from RM 110,000 (Roadster) all the way up to RM 210,000 (Pro Street Breakout).
