|Honda today revealed their entire showcase line-up for the 43rd Tokyo Motor Show, slated for 23 November till 1 December. The line-up comprises production and concept-model automobiles, motorcycles, power products, and robotics. Honda also happens to be the largest exhibitor at these Tokyo Motor show.|
At this edition’s Tokyo motor show, with the booth concept of “Live Outside the Box”, Honda plans to propose its original mobility products generated from Honda’s innovative inspirations unbound by precedent or conventional wisdom. Variants on display include the Honda S660 Concept, an open-top sports-type mini-vehicle, the NSX Concept, the next-generation super sports variant and the new UNI-CUB, a personal mobility device.

The Honda S660 Concept is the next-generation open-top compact sports that features a dynamic and advanced styling design as well as various new initiatives such as a Super cockpit interior that thoroughly pursues the ultimate space for the driver.
Iconic and always anticipated, the NSX Concept is the legitimate replacement to the already phased-out NSX. A super sports which features the next-generation direct-injected V6 engine mounted on a lightweight vehicle body in a mid-ship layout as well as a highly-efficient and high-output SPORT HYBRID SH-AWD (Super Handling – All Wheel Drive) hybrid system, which realizes both outstanding driving performance and fuel economy. Moreover, the NSX Concept gives an impression of low and wide stance with the dynamic and alluring proportions, as well as an interior design developed under the concept of a “Human Support Cockpit”.
Honda’s world premieres for the Tokyo Motor show are none other than the N-WGN – the 4th version of the N Series mini-vehicles – and the Urban SUV Concept. The Urban SUV Concept, which is now stipulated for production, hails from the second model of the Global Compact series that was previously unveiled at the NAIAS (North American International Auto Show) in January, this year. For motorcycles, Honda is putting the the Dunk and CB1300 Super Bol D’OR as two of their major two-wheel exhibits. The Dunk is a new style 50 cc scooter equipped with a newly-developed liquid-cooled engine, while the CB1300 Super BOL D’OR is a sleek Grand Tourer bike that now takes on new LED headlights and a 6-speed transmission.
Finally, the Honda UNI-CUB is the brand’s newest venture into robotics. The most popular Honda humanoid which everyone has come to like is the lovable ASIMO. The UNI-CUB, though, is a personal mobility device that’s designed for harmony with people. It realizes the same freedom of movement in all directions that a person enjoys while walking, and it comes in a compact size to enable easy acclimatization of the environment.
