There’s now a Honda City Special Edition with extra features and in special hues, White Orchid Pearl and Passion Red Pearl. Priced at B-segment value in the country, the City SE (Special Edition) Red Pearl comes in at RM75,955 and the White Orchid one goes for RM76,075. Why is the White Orchid more expensive? It’s because the Pearl White-like hue requires an extra layer or coat of paint.
What’s New in the Special Edition?
To make it a special edition, Honda added a Digital Video Recorder (DVR), a Built-in Toll reader, door Visors and a trunk organizer. Everyone should already know what a DVR does, while the built-in toll reader is connected directly to the car’s power source, minus the need for external batteries.
Th door visors basically are rain guards, which mean you can slide your windows down without having to worry about rain sipping into the car. As for the trunk organizer, if you haven’t got one, no problem this City edition comes with it.
The City’s interior, follows the current generation, prioritizes comfort and space for both driver and passengers. Its trunk space remains the biggest in its class at 536 liters, making this City edition the sedan of choice for road trips be it working adults, couples or young families.
On the powertrain, this City edition still carry a 1.5l i-VTEC engine, combined with Continuous Variable Transmission (CVT). All your standard safety features are included as well.
The City continues to spur Honda as no.1 brand in non-National segment
The City has been the biggest contributor for Honda Malaysia, contributing 34% to the total sales for the Company while maintaining its No.1 position in its segment from January – July. In all the regions, the City has always been the most sought-after model, with the City contributing 50% in Central region, followed by Southern region at 20% and Northern region at 19% to the overall sales between January – July.
