The New and improved Honda Civic is now equipped with the Honda SENSING suite as announced by Honda Malaysia prior to its unveiling in the fourth quarter.
The Honda Civic is the third locally-produced model to be equipped with the Honda SENSING suite, Honda SENSING is an Advanced Safety Technology, implemented by the brand on some of its top models. Honda SENSING suite comprises Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) with Low Speed Follow (LSF), Forward Collision Warning (FCW), Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS), Lane Keep Assist System (LKAS), Road Departure Mitigation (RDM), Lane Departure Warning (LDW) and Auto High-Beam (AHB). In other words, the safety pack ensures ultimate driver’s aid, from frontal to side collision.
And that’s not all, the Civic now has a LaneWatch camera. It acts as a blind-spot monitor. Besides the LaneWatch, there are Remote engine start, electric Parking Brake and front sensor, new for 2019.
In its tenth generation, the Civic is one of the most recognizable Hondas in this country. Honda claims that this model has captured 82 percent of the C-segment market since it came out in 2016. Obviously, it single-handedly propelled Honda to the top of the non-National sales charts in this country.
Except for exterior and interior updates, the updated Civic still carries a 1.5l VTEC Turbocharged engine (173PS/220Nm), paired to a CVT transmission.
As for looks, the Civic has fresh front and rear bumpers, an updated spoiler, front grille with Black finish and 2019 18-inch wheels.

Honda Civic Type R presented to Malaysian King
Honda Malaysia played their good gesture part by presenting a Civic Type R to the current ruler of Malaysia in view of his recent day of birth. The current ruler of Malaysia is H.M. Seri Paduka Baginda The Yang di-Pertuan Agong XVI Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah Ibni Almarhum Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah Al-Musta’in Billah. A presentation of the car was held at the National Palace.
