Honda CR-V Mugen Ltd Edition introduced

Honda Malaysia today introduced the CR-V Mugen Limited Edition, following a preview at last year’s KL Motor Show. Only 300 units of the CR-V Mugeb Ltd. are available.

The CR-V Mugen Ltd 2WD takes up a 1.5l turbo, along with a host of interior and exterior goodies.

At the front, the Honda CR-V Mugen becomes more expressive with a new grille garnish and under spoiler or skirt. More garnish at the side gives the SUV a lowered look.

From the rear, a Mugen upper wing, under spoiler and insignia simply ensured its limited edition prowess. This limited edition SUV is specifically meant for those who desires a forward-looking and aggressively decked Sports Utility. There are two colors for this Mugen CR-V: White Orchid Pearl and Passion Red Pearl (a popular Honda hue, of late).

This CR-V Mugen picks up after previous Mugen editions of the Jazz and BR-V. The CR-V, of course, has been a fore runner in the SUV category for the brand in the country, for many years.

The CR-V Mugen is priced at RM152,900 for Passion Red Pearl  and RM153,300 for White Orchid Pearl.

About the CR-V

First completely knocked-down in 2003, the CR-V has sold more than 95,000 units in this country, as at June 2019.

Currently in its fifth-generation, introduced back in 2017, the CR-V has a bolder outlook compared to previous generations and offers a whole lot more features, including Honda SENSING. The CR-V is the first model in this country to get Honda SENSING. Other innovative features include Electric Parking Brake (EPB), Auto Brake Hold (ABH), Walk Away Auto Lock and Driver Attention Monitor.

Following the announcement of the CR-V Mugen, customers who test drive a CR-V at Honda showrooms stand a chance to win exclusive gifts, worth up to RM100,000.

To date, the 5th-gen Honda CR-V has tallied 27,000 units, and the model holds the top spot in the non-National SUV segment.
