|With the new Honda CR-V 2.4-liter due in June, Honda Malaysia has provided an update of bookings for the 2.0-liter Honda CR-V.|
In a little over a month since its debut, the new,4th-generation Honda CR-V has totaled 3,000 bookings. This puts the Honda CR-V at the very top of the bookings figures and as the best selling variant across all Honda variants. In addition, the figures constitutes to 34 percent of Honda Malaysia’s month of March sales.
The CR-V’s record has helped Honda Malaysia reached 43 percent of the variant’s 7,000 units target for the year. Why is the Honda CR-V so popular? Well for starters, it has a bit of a combination of premium and contemporary look. Further, it’s got that sedan-like drive, cabin spaciousness and fits 5-adult with extra head/legroom. Honda has somewhat perfected its SUV through the first three generations by seamlessly combining practicality, security and safety features. They’ve also make their 4th-gen SUV more fuel efficient and CO2 friendly.
The Honda CR-V’s astounding response in the country is reflective of the consistent popularity of Honda’s best-selling SUV the world over, especially in Asian countries such as, Thailand with 18,674 bookings since its debut in September last year until February.
Honda Malaysia expects the soon-to-be-launched Honda CR-V 2.4-liter to contribute another 10% to the variant’s overall sales. The Honda CR-V 2.4l is already up for bookings at all 62 authorized Honda dealerships nationwide.
