|Honda has officiated its newest 3S Center in the Capital City’s new Township of Semenyih, further stamping their network expansion plans in the country.|
The new Honda 3S Center, under the stewardship of SAG Ultimate Sdn Bhd., covers a total built-up area of 22,000 square feet which sits on approximately 61,000 square feet of land. The Honda-SAG Ultimate 3S center is the first to adopt the marque’s new Dealership Facility Program; which has started to roll out with a purpose to enhance branding and identity of Honda dealerships, everywhere in the country. This program was introduced two years ago as Honda’s new Corporate Identity (CI), to ensure every new Honda dealership offers the best facility and quality services for its customers.
Absorbing an RM 19 million investment, the brand new 3S center houses all the necessary facilities, including fourteen service bays, which can take up to 30 cars on a daily basis. Additionally, the Honda-SAG Ultimate 3S center offers plenty of customer amenities such as a large customer lounge, mini cafetaria, children’s corner, delivery bay, merchandise booth and more.
Yoichiro Ueno, Honda Malaysia’s Managing Director and CEO, remarked, “This new facility is designed to offer comfortable and relaxing atmosphere with its sophisticated exterior to give good presence to the vicinity. Semenyih is one of the fastest growing areas in the State of Selangor. From January to October this year, Honda Malaysia has delivered 74,920 units, translating to a 19% jump compared to the same period last year. This significant increase is a new record for Honda Malaysia and has in turn reinforced its leading position in the Non-National segment. Also, Honda Malaysia recently marked its half a million vehicle sales in the country.
Over the past three years, Honda Malaysia has been rapidly expanding its dealer network and targets to achieve 90 dealerships by 2016 to meet customer expectation. Of the current 86 Honda dealers in Malaysia, 14 have Body and Paint centers.
