If you own an older Hyundai model that is no longer under warranty, enjoy savings from participating Hyundai service centers which are now offering free labor on lube change service (engine oil and oil filter) for non-current models.

This initiative by Hyundai-Sime Darby Motors (HSDM) is to help customers save on the rising costs of living while keeping their cars well maintained. Apart from waiving the labor charge on lube change service, participating Hyundai service centers will also be performing a free 20-point inspection on cars which include brake pads, bearings, tyres, windshield wipers, radiator fluid, spark plug, etc.

Servicing your car at an authorized service center ensures proper maintenance and genuine Hyundai spare parts, which improve the lifespan of the car.

Cost savings for after sales service is also extended to customers who purchase any new Hyundai models from 2016 and they too will enjoy great savings on their car maintenance through the newly launched ‘My Hyundai Care Program’. With the revised periodic maintenance service schedule, Hyundai owners can enjoy cost savings of up to 15% and time saving of 30%.

The Hyundai Care program offers three (3) options: Care Basic, Care Advance and Care Advance Plus. The Care Basic offers replacement of engine oil, oil filter and oil plug gasket.

In addition to Care Basic, Care Advance also offers replacement of other maintenance items such as air filter, brake fluid, air-condition filter, spark plug, and coolant. Meanwhile, the Care Advance Plus package caters to those who require major servicing with replacement of Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATF), engine belting brake fluid and air-condition filter. (This package only applies to models sold currently).

Apart from that, 200 lucky customers will also stand a chance to win RM 300 worth of service vouchers when they service their cars between now until 1 August. During this promotional period, customers with vehicles that are less than five years old will get up to 20% discount on selected parts and 10% discount on labor charges.

My Hyundai Care App

Slated for launch on 1 July, the My Hyundai App aims to provide customers with the convenience of obtaining automobile services on their mobile devices. It offers a host of services such as the next service reminder via push notification no later than a week before the next service date; making a service appointment with options to select your preferred service center; keeping track of service history and also a SOS call function in times of emergency and to activate the 24/7 roadside assist.

That’s not all the app has to offer. From the app, customers will also be informed of new Hyundai models that will be launched, service campaign and promotions as well as technical service campaign for relevant models. The app which was introduced last year, is being updated and enhanced from time to time.

Hyundai owners can find out more about the current service promo. or the My Hyundai Care App by calling Hyundai’s Customer Careline at 1-300-13-2000 or download the app.
