Hyundai U.S.A. has announced the debut of the Gurnade Veloster Concept at the 2016 SEMA Show (Automotive Specialty Trade Show) in Las Vegas. The Hyundai Gurnade Veloster Concept is conceptualized from a partnership between Hyundai Motor America and Gurnade Inc.

This year’s SEMA show at the Las Vegas Convention Center will start on 1 November until 4 November, featuring everything automotive, vehicles, trucks, accessories and more.

The Hyundai Veloster concept is a race ready speedster with a fundamentally-aggressive stance. The Veloster Concept’s exterior highlights are further amplified by the race-ready machine’s integrated flares, front splitter, racing canards, three-piece lightweight forged wheels and a custom rear spoiler. Further accentuating the exterior of the concept are: PPG Refinish Magic Magenta paint, custom fender flares and grille, carbon-fiber elements (front spoiler, side sills, rear garnish, hood, hatch and spoiler), vented bumper cover, custom headlights and foglghts and front crash bar. “Gurnade has always been drawn to the uniquely aggressive lines of the production Veloster,” said Joshua Cloud, owner of Gurnade, Inc. “So when Hyundai approached us with the opportunity to develop one of their vehicles for SEMA, we didn’t hesitate to create the Gurnade Veloster Concept. It leverages all the strengths of the Veloster and takes it where we always envisioned it could go.”

Inside the typical race car, the Veloster concept houses race seats with harnesses as standard equipment. Other specifications inside include roll cage, gauges, LED Glow lighting, carbon-fiber steering, and an audio system with subwoofer and amplifier.

The Veloster concept takes up an engine with 845 Motorsports intercooler, downpipe and cold-air intake. Furthermore, the racer has 845 Motorsports ECU tune to determine maximum output and torque ratings, aided by the availability of a Synapse blow-off valve and ARK Performance cat-back exhaust.

Chassis–wise, the race-ready Veloster concept features NEO Motorsports coil-overs and 6-piston big brake kit for optimum dead stopping on its tracks. For overall stability and sheer driving dynamics, the concept depends on Pierce Motorsports strut bar, rear torsion bar with tie brace. The available Rotiform 19-inch OZT three-piece forged wheels and Toyo competition-spec tyres combo makes it an undeniable mean machine, most suited for the SEMA show.
