Car insurance renewal
Renewing your car’s insurance policy is a legal requirement. Car owners need to do it on an annual basis and immediately after buying a car. Rates and benefits between insurance providers barely differ and after the first year, annual policy amount tends to drop due to NCB (if there’s no accident claims) and the car’s current market value.
By renewing their policy with PIP, Proton owners will be eligible for the following benefits: Key Care Cover, Flood Relief Allowance, All Driver Coverage and Personal Accident coverage.
Key Care Cover applies in the event of loss or damage due to an actual or attempted theft, robbery or house break-in, customers enjoy free key replacement up to a sum of RM1,000. The other benefit is applicable when there’s any flooding occurrences, customers are able to claim an allowance of up to RM1,000.
In addition, the extra benefits include Waiver of Betterment costs and Agreed Value coverage. The Agreed Value Coverage is observed when there’s a total loss or theft, customers will enjoy full reimbursement of the sum amount insured for the first 12 years of their vehicle’s life.
