Isuzu Elf Smoother with Automated Manual gearbox

Isuzu Malaysia has announced a new automated manual gearbox for its ELF Series, called the Elf Smoother. This announcement is purposeful to ensure Elf truck drivers get the ultimate convenience of driving without manual gear shifting and clutch-less foot pedals.

The Elf series is one of Isuzu’s light duty trucks, having made its debut in the country since 2012. It is also the best selling light duty truck in Isuzu’s sales charts.  The automated manual transmission (AMT) Elf offers an easier drive to go with its versatile payload configurations, dependable performance and low operating costs..

The Isuzu Elf AMT basically works like an automatic transmission truck but benefits from the vigor and response of a manual gearbox. CEO of Isuzu Malaysia Koji Nakamura said, “With the addition of AMT, the appeal of the Isuzu Elf range has increased significantly as it offers the fresh dimension of ease of driving and comfort that a fully manual transmission version will find difficult to beat.”

The Elf series is usually a top choice for transport operators thanks to its overall reasonable costs. Truck operators have testified that the ELF offers a quiet and comfortable ride. Most said when driving they’re able to have normal conversations and listen to the radio. Other accolades for the truck include smooth gear changes and sufficient power..

Isuzu Elf Smoother is available in a few variants and body configurations. View and test drive are available at Isuzu dealerships where professionals are on hand to offer advice and recommendations on the Elf or other ideal Isuzu trucks to suit a customer’s  business operation requirements.
