Lamborghini Veneno takes center stage at Geneva

Lamborghini Veneno presented at Geneva motor show previously previewed the Lamborghini Veneno, a newest Raging Bull variant that’s limited to 3 units in the world. Following its presentation at the Geneva Motor show, Automobili Lamborghini has made it official that the 3-million plus Euros Lamborghini Veneno will be available only to very selective customers across the continents.

Lamborghini Veneno: Most aggressive Raging Bull yet

Lamborghini Veneno rear profile

With the Lamborghini Veneno, this latest Raging Bull variant is presented in its most aggressive form and defined razor sharp lines yet. The racing prototype takes up exceptional dynamics, optimum downforce thanks to a large front wing and central ‘shark fin’ hood, Y-shaped headlights and large channels to the intakes as well as in front of the windshields.

At the side, the expounded feeder signifies aerodynamic flow optimization, and at the same time sills and wheel arches aid optimum airflow to the intakes.

From the rear, the highlights include a diffuser that houses four sizable exhaust pipes divided by a splitter, Y-shaped lights and the adjustable rear wing. This race prototype’s motifs are completed by 20-inch front and 21-inch rear wheels and tyres combination.

Lamborghini Veneno: Powerplant

In the engine bay, there is a twelve-cylinder power unit with a displacement of 6.5 liters mated to a 7-speed ISR transmission with 5 driving modes and permanent all-wheel drive. The powertrain enables the Lamborghini Veneno to propel to a maximum output of 750 hp for a 0 – 100km/h dash in just 2.8 seconds and top speed of 335km/h.

Made of predominantly carbon-fiber materials, including CFRP monocoque chassis and CFRP exterior parts, the Super Sports car is light, very light indeed. The Lamborghini Veneno has a dry weight of just 1,450 kilograms and is 125 kg lighter than the Aventador. This meant a power to weight ratio of 1.93 kg/hp.

The inside, too, features innovative, Lamborghini-patented materials such as Forged Composite and CarbonSkin. The two lightweight bucket seats are made from Lamborghini’s patented Forged Composite, while the cockpit incorporates CarbonSkin.
