McLaren Speedtail and McLaren GT take limelight at Chantilly Arts & Elegance showcase

McLaren Speedtail, the fastest McLaren ever, and McLaren GT recently appeared at a one day only showcase in Chantilly Arts & Elegance, located in the north of Paris. Both new grand touring models were crowd pullers at the grand French exhibit. The McLaren Speedtail even entered the concours competition and joined a supercar parade. The Speedtail was picked as the ‘Best of Show’ showcar.

A Gran Tourer that needs no introduction,  the Speedtail could hit a top speed of 403km/h, and just for the show the Speedtail is decked in a never-before-seen livery of Saragon Quartz body and Oxblood aniline leather and nubuck interior. Other exterior bespoke stuff for the Speedtail include streamlined, seamless body in champagne hue, the Contour Pack of aero parts (front wheel covers, splitter, diffuser, cowl and engine cover) and carbon body panels with a satin finish.

The cabin is decked in full aniline leather and aniline nubuck of deep red, seats with painted edges in navy and quilting pattern on the seat backs, and metal parts in machined aluminium with a brushed and polished finish complete the interior. McLaren only made 106 Speedtails for worldwide distribution.

The McLaren GT is the other grand tourer on show at the event. The superlight McLaren GT is a car that redefines the category by adding greater space, comfort and usability to McLaren supercar DNA, while retaining all the extreme performance, dynamic ability and driver engagement for which the brand stands. The GT showcased at the event had diamond cut wheels in Burnished Copper with Gloss Black finish, optional panoramic electrochromic glass roof and an interior trimmed in Porcelain Blue leather. With performance even more breathtaking than its design, 0-200km/h in just 9.0 seconds and a top speed of 326km/h, the McLaren GT is available to order now priced from 163,000 pounds.
