McLaren to arrive in Malaysia in Sept, McLaren 12C Spider McLaren Supercars are slated to arrive in the country very soon following this week’s announcement of the collaboration between McLaren Automotive and Sime Darby Motors. The announcement marks McLaren’s 41st retail location in twenty five international markets across the globe.

Operated by Sime Darby Auto Britannia, the soon-to-be-established flagship showroom at the Mutiara Damansara vicinity represents only the third McLaren dealerships in all of Asia; the other two McLaren dealerships are in Hong Kong and Shanghai. Auto Britannia targets a September revelation of the brand new McLaren showroom, and this year also marks the 50th Anniversary of the British Sportscar marque.

Located within the vicinity of major highways in the Klang Valley, the unique and visually striking facility will be the home for the range of high performance McLaren models in the country. The sales gallery will be supported by a Service Center in Temasya Industrial Park, Glenmarie where all staff at the state-of-the-art four-bay center will be fully trained at the McLaren Automotive factory in Woking, UK.

Commenting on the McLaren-Sime Darby Motors undertaking, Managing Director Lawrence Lee said, “We are excited to represent the McLaren Automotive brand, and to be its partner in Malaysia. McLaren Kuala Lumpur is Sime Darby Motors’ third partnership with McLaren after McLaren Hong Kong and McLaren Shanghai.”

“Our experience with McLaren in other markets will benefit Auto Britannia to deliver excellence to its customers,” he added.
