Naza-Brabus rekindles Performance brand with new facilities

 2014 BRABUS CLS Rocket 730 at new Glenmarie dealership The Brabus brand has been in country ever since it fell under the stewardship of Naza-Brabus Motor in October 2001. Since then, Naza-Brabus Motor has activated the brand on a softer scale until todaý’s opening of the Brabus Showroom and Performance Center at the Automotive Hub in Glenmarie, Shah Alam. The showroom and Performance Center are just 500 meters apart.

If you’ve not heard of Brabus, here’s the deli; Brabus provides customized bodykits, powerkits and an extensive range of conversions for Mercedes-Benz cars. Brabus GmbH, founded by Bodo Buschmann in 1977, has grown to become one of the world’s most influential independent automobile performance manufacturers.

With the new showroom and Performance Center, Naza-Brabus now embarks to rebuild the performance brand in the country. The Performance-themed showroom is a one-stop solution center for Mercedes-Benz owners who wish to make their Mercedes cars look even better. Interested customers are advised to hop on by to choose from a myriad of interior and exterior customizations available via online configurations. Additionally, the Brabus place offers services such as; Brabus kit conversions, engine tuning, performance upgrades, scheduled maintenance, repairs, and relevant services.

Built at an investment cost of over RM6 million, the new Brabus showroom and Performance Center take up a combined 30,000 sq ft of display and service area. There are eight service bay allocated at the performance center, with up to 5 technical experts on stand by. Over at the showroom, the Brabus variants on show consists of the ML WideStar, iBusiness S class and the SLK Brabus edition.

In conjunction with the Brabus showroom and performance center opening, Naza-Brabus broke out the the CLS Rocket 730 Special Edition for the guests and media. The Brabus CLS Rocket 730 is a pristine example of a high-performance premium Brabus vehicle tuned behind the walls of the new Performance Center. Based on the Mercedes-Benz CLS63 AMG, the Rocket 730 boasts plenty of extensive upgrades certified by Brabus GmbH. The 5.5-liter Rocket 730 certainly lives up to its acronym, thanks to an output of over 730 hp and torque ratings of 1,065Nm, as well as the century sprint of 3.8 seconds and a top speed of 350 km/h.
