allcarschannel Naza Kia Malaysia today officiated its second 4S Center at the bustling Setapak vicinity in the capital City. The newest Setapak 4S represents Naza Kia’s on-going nationwide expansion plans and is a part of the company’s new Global Space Identity; a network upgrade exercise or new Corporate Identity (C.I.) venture. Kia’s new C.I. which began in late 2011 takes up refreshed red and white tones with a tinge of dynamic fluency.

The Kia Red Cube in Petaling Jaya’s auto hub at Jalan 222 and the Setapak 4S precede the 16 other Kia dealerships in terms of its an eventual C.I. upgrading exercise and new design; the Kia outlets include Kia Bangsar, Malacca, Penang, Puchong, Glenmarie (Kia & NSS Kia 2S Center), Penang, Langkawi, Juru, Ipoh, Jalan Pahang, Alor Setar, TTDI, Miri, Kuching, Chan Sow Lin KL and Kota Damansara. In addition, Naza Kia has revealed that its Johor Bahru Red Cube outlet in the southern state of Johor is nearing completion and will be completed in the first quarter of 2013. In the near future, Naza Kia plans to establish further outlets in Rawang, Kuantan, the northern state of Penang and Kota Kinabalu in East M’sia.

Tabulating an investment cost of R4 million, the Red Cube Setapak 4S features houses a vast showroom where customers can view the popular Kia variant such as the Forte 6-speed, Sportage, Sorento and Optima K5. Additionally, the 4S denter has ample waiting lounges, customers amenities where customers can wait and glance at the mechanics working on their vehicles from a bird’s eye view at the 24 service bays below the main waiting lounge. Besides, general services and spare parts, the 4S center also provide body paint services.

Dato’ Hafiz Syed Abu Bakar, Chief Operating Officer of Naza Kia, commented, “Naza Kia plans to invest up to 6 million to establish outlets in Rawang and Kuantan, and as much as 10 million for the Johor Bahru Kia Red Cube; the second flagship showroom in the country.”

Naza Kia also accounted that the network expansion plans are in line with sales growth which tallied 10,500 units as at end of October this year; a 13% increase from 2011. The incremental sales figures is led by the Forte 6-speed which contributed 5,500 units, Sportage SUV 1,410 units and Optima K5 1,370 units.

Meantime, Kia and its lubricants partner Petronas have introduced the Tutela ATF -4 transmission fluid in conjunction with the Setapak 4S opening. The Petronas Tutela is formulated to suit 6-speed automatic transmission in Kia vehicles such as the Forte, Sorento, Sportage and Optima K5. As this is an OEM ATF product for Kia, Petronas hasn’t announced the product’s availability for the mass market or corresponding variants.
