2013 Kia Red Cube Johor Bahru

Dato’ Hafiz Syed Abu Bakar, COO of Naza Kia, commented, “In late December 2011, we launched our flagship Kia Red Cube in Petaling Jaya which incorporates Kia’s New Global Space Identity. Now, the Kia Red Cube Johor Bahru follows suit albeit with a new Chrome emblem added to the mix. The Chrome logo is the first of its kind in the world and as such sets a precedent for other Red Cubes in the world.”

Hafiz also announced that Naza Kia is already embarking on two new Red Cubes at Rawang and Kuantan, each at a cost of RM6 million. For the first half of the year, Naza Kia has been experiencing a healthy sales growth, with an 8 percent increase as compared to the same period last year. The incremental sales is led by the Kia Forte 6-speed variant which contributed 2,113 units. Naza Kia’s second best variant is the compact Kia Rio, with 786 units accounted for. The company hopes that the newly introduced Kia Cerato would be able to match its predecessor in terms of sales and acceptance level into the second half of the year.
