New Honda MPV debuts at Indonesian Motor show Honda has announced a new yet-to-be-named MPV especially for the upcoming Motor show in Indonesia.

Only an artist sketch of the new Honda MPV has been released by Honda Indonesia, P.T. Honda Prospect Motor. The Indonesian Motor show is scheduled for its 21st running between 19 – 29 September at the Capital City, Jakarta.

The new Honda MPV is developed for the Asian market by Honda R&D Asia Pacific Co., Ltd. in Thailand and P.T. Honda R&D Indonesia.

Honda’s entry-level MPV sees its debut in one of the largest  South East Asia countries. This is reinforced by the fact that the MPV segment happens to be the largest in the Indonesian automotive market.

Initial details on the new Honda MPV entailed a seven-seater in a 3 row configuration, sleek and engaging design that’s quite similar to the current Jazz/Fit platform especially at the front, a spacious cabin and plenty of safety features.

In the powerplant department, the new Honda MPV takes up a 1.5-liter petrol engine that’s supposedly zippy and fuel efficient, as well as most probably matched with a 5-speed auto transmission.
