Mazda Malaysia has announced the availability of the CX-30. This fully imported model from Japan comes in eight exterior paints, with a starting price of RM 143,119.20.

There are three variants of the CX-30 for the local market: 2.0G, 2,0G High=spec and 1.8D High-spec. Two petrol units and a diesel variant with a price tag of RM173,027.70 are available for bookings at Mazda dealerships across the country.

In essence, the CX-30 is a combination of a sleek crossover with the toughness of an SUV. Beneath a sleek upper body with the streamlines silhouette of a coupe, black cladding to the lower body creates an impression of stability, ruggedness and power appropriate to an SUV. From the rear, the fenders stand proud from the tapered cabin and the tailgate has a correspondingly narrowed arch shape.

Moving inside, the CX-30 has a human-centric cabin featuring a clean, airy and open cabin space for passengers and a snug, focused, driver’s cockpit area. Mazda’s Human-Machine Interface (HMI) couldn’t be more evident in the CX-30, while the audio system for the local market would be made clear in due time.

At its introduction stage, the CX-30 is offered with two engine options: the 2.0 SkyActiv-G that outputs 122PS and 213 Nm), and the 1.8l SkyActiv-D capable of 116PS and 270 Nm of max torque.

As a top-tiered compact SUV, the Mazda CX-30 features the new Skyactiv-Vehicle Architecture. With safety as a top priority, the CX-30 has a comprehensive suite of i-Activsense active safety features. More details about the CX-30 will be available following its official local debut by Mazda Malaysia.
