For the twelfth successive year, golfers who scored aces at golf clubs participating in the Nissan National Hole-in-One Challenge were brought together for the Grand Finals, which took place at Bukit Kemuning Golf & Country Resort, Shah Alam on the 6 March. The Grand Finals was an invite-only event for an elite group of golfers to battle it out for the title of ‘Achiever of Achievers’.

During the tournament, should any participant score a hole in one on any of the Par 3 holes, they would go home a proud owner of a brand new Nissan Sylphy 2.0L (X-CVT) Luxury Navi Package priced at RM120,380.00 on-the-road in Peninsula Malaysia.

Eventual champion of the Achiever division, Puan Zarina Jan (above) from Ipoh, was pleased with the course conditions and commended the tournament on being well organized. Though this tournament wasn’t her first, she was pleasantly surprised at the very friendly field of golfers she met during the event.

While, the Nissan National Hole-in-One challenge brought together 50 premier golfing destinations around Malaysia including several as far as Borneo.After 12 successful seasons, this program is currently the longest running golf program in Malaysia and has been steadily gathering a strong reputation as one of the top hole-in-one competitions in the country. However, ETCM intends to maintain a members cap on this special golf challenge despite overwhelming response for the membership participation.

This event also marked the launch of the 2010 season by Mr. Khoo Cheng Pah, Sales Director of Edaran Tan Chong Motor who said, “It has provided Edaran Tan Chong Motors a unique way of building relationships and business through this program. It gives me great pleasure to see the Nissan National Hole-In-One Challenge, with its uniqueness, has found a common ground with different organizations in the industry coming together as partners outside of their work environment”.

The program is unique because any golfer, whether male or female, who scores a hole in one in any of the participating golf clubs immediately becomes a member of the Nissan Club 100, which includes several perks such as a certificate of achievement, a goodie bag and of course, an invitation to the grand finals.
