Nissan Malaysia (Edaran TanChong Motor) offers flood victims peace-of-mind and contributes RM30,000 In light of the recent Flood disaster in East Malaysia, top Non-national Automotive makers Toyota Malaysia (UMW Toyota Motor), Nissan Malaysia (Edaran Tan Chong Motor) and Honda Malaysia did their bids to provide much needed relief to the victims in the nine States of the Peninsular, hit by the flood.

UMW Toyota Motor, two days before X’mas day, announced that the organization is set to offer a year-round special service and repair package to all its Toyota and Lexus customers who are affected by the recent flood disaster. The Toyota and Lexus flood assist, however, is only valid for genuine cases related to the recent calamity. The Flood Assist comprises; a 25 percent discount on total bill inclusive of parts and labor charges, free towing service, quick evaluation and quotation on expected repair cost, and free car wash for exterior and engine.

For customers of Honda Malaysia, the company has initiated its flood relief campaign from late December 2014 till 31 March 2015. The Flood Relief sees customers get genuine parts discount of up to 50% and other concurrent after sales services.

Honda Malaysia’s flood relief effort is purposeful to aid owners affected by the severe flood, which has now distressed nine states in the country. To be eligible for the flood relief benefit, Honda owners are advised to bring along their police report on the damaged car and insurance cover note to any Honda dealerships in the flood-hit States. At the dealerships, the claims will be evaluated and assessed, prior to the repair process as soon as the flood situation dwindles down.

Meanwhile, Nissan Malaysia (Edaran Tan Chong Motor) offered RM30,000 to the Malaysian Red Crescent Society for flood victims nationwide and discounted rates for Nissan car owners in the affected areas. The relief effort has started from 27 December 2014 and would last until 28 February.

Part of Nissan Malaysia’s CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) activity, the relief campaign offers owners up to 25 percent discounts on genuine spare parts and labor charges, including a complimentary towing service; worth up to RM150.

Nissan Malaysia has also initiated a nationwide donation drive amongst its personnel in the country for affected staff members in the flood-hit States.
