Pagani presents New Roadster BC and Imola Hypercars at Geneva Motor Show

Hypercar makers Pagani Automobili is presenting the Roadster BC and Imola at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show. This year proves to be a milestone for Pagani as they observe 20 years of making super fine hypercars, from the Zonda to Huayra, to the present creations.

The Pagani Roadster BC and Imola

Both Roadster BC and Pagani Imola are performance-oriented hypercars, with the Roadster BC being an evolution of the Huayra Roadster. The Imola is an intentionally efficient hypercar, a powerhouse of technology for the road and racetrack.

Roadster BC and Pagani Imola design exclusives

The first Roadster BC in production features a matte carbon-look finish in two new shades, Cobalto and Indaco, while the central stripe sports a carbon-weave finish in the Cobalto and Azzurro Sardegna colors.

The interior for both hypercars is crafted in alcantara and leather, embossed and skillfully measured to lighten the whole structure.

Blu Tricolore is the shade chosen for the 3rd of the 5 Pagani Imola hypercars. The finish is glossy while the white accents, which underscore its aggressive looks, are matte. This time the interiors are in alcantara and blue leather, while the Imola logo is embroidered onto the door interior so as to be visible when the door is opened. The rims are in the titanium color.

The Roadster BC and Pagani Imola power play

The Roadster BC punches 802 hp and 1,050 Nm, from just 2,000 rpm thanks to a mighty V12. Even more powerful is the Imola with 827 hp and 1,100 Nm of torque from 4,400 rpm.

With power-packed engines, both hypercars need an effective cooling system, suspension geometry and airflow channels. An active aerodynamics system makes sure the cars are stuck to the ground; the system consists of four mobile flaps which interacts with the new electronically controlled suspension system and adjusts to suit the driving dynamics.

Monocoques for the cars enhance the torsional and bending stiffness while reducing their weight (1,250 kg for the Roadster BC and 1,246 kg the Pagani Imola). Both hypercars are shod in special Pirelli tyres.

The Pagani Imola is painted in Acquarello Light, with weight saving and weather protection features.

With the announcement of the Roadster BC, Pagani has decided to stop production run of the Huayra Roadster. The lighter Roadster BC is limited to just 100 units for global markets and roll out is expected in mid-2020. The Pagani Imola too is expected to roll out during the same period.
