The Malaysian-born Khairuddin first burst into the two-wheel racing scene at the 2009 Malaysian Grand Prix 125cc category. Last season, Zul as he’s known by his peers scored two podium finishes, a pole position and three fastest laps for a cumulative 128 points; 7th best in the Moto3 class. One of his podium finishes of 2012 included a second place at his home track.

According to Perodua’s President and CEO Dato’ Aminar Rashid, “We chose Zulfahmi as Perodua’s Myvi ambassador because we believe that he is a disciplined, driven and focused – a good role model for today’s youths.”

As part of his two-year contract and duties to endorse Perodua, Khairuddin will be a regular fixture in upcoming Perodua advertising campaigns and media activities. Needless to say, Perodua is very likely going to partake in October’s MotoGP Malaysian round.
