Perodua introduces updated MyVi and announces price reduction

2016 Perodua Myvi Advance_Two Tone_rear Perodua has announced a revised prices for its best seliing model, the MyVi, for the year. As part of the “Love of the Nation” campaign, Perodua introduces a price reduction for the Myvi 1.5 variants, 1.5 E and 1.5 Advance, starting 7 May until 5 July. with saving of up to RM3,650 for Myvi 1.5SE and RM3,800 for Advance line-up model from 7th May to 5th July only.

The Love of the Nation campaign is a buzz to create further value proposition for the top Perodua model by the National carmakers. It is also meant to encourage sales with the economy recovery beginning to take shape at the start of the second quarter.

Across the MyVi board, the base model MyVi 1.3l retails for RM 40,862.16; no change from its original listed price; as does the 1.3 Standard Auto at RM 43,862.15. The 1.5-liter SE variants see a reduction of RM 3,800.50 from RM50,368.50 down to RM46,568.00 and RM53,368.50 down to RM49,568.00, respectively. Perodua has revealed that in time to come, the 1.3l MyVi (1.3l premium X and premium XS) will be phased out.

The top flight Perodua MyVi Advance regular has a price decrease of RM3,650.50 from RM58,368.50 down to RM54,718.00, whereas the two-tone version has a new listed price of RM55,118.00. The MyVi 1.5 Advance two-tone color, with a combination of Metallic Ebony Black & Electric Blue, has just been introduced, and the variant is deemed appropriate for young urbanites.

Up till current period, Perodua has amassed some 890,000 units of the MyVi since the model came out in May 2005. The model has almost single-handedly kept Perodua at the top of the TIV (Total Industry Volume) and Sales charts for over a decade now.

In addition to the two-tone MyVi, Perodua has called forth a new line of affordable alternative service parts brand dubbed “ProGanti”. The ProGanti is established to encourage customers to use quality and genuine parts. And more importantly, the Perodua auto parts are assured to be the right choice and available at affordable prices. Furthermore, the auto parts come with a 6-month warranty. Perodua intends to increase the number of auto parts to 30 items by the year end.

The National carmaker is currently embarking on a campaign at its dealerships, this weekend. Interested parties are most encouraged to attend the “Riuh Bersama Perodua” at their nearest Perodua dealerships. Customers who purchase the MyVi or Axia during the dealership open day are entitled to buy new accessories at bargain prices.
