2013 Nasim KYGMB signing ceremony Domestic Peugeot distributors Nasim today announced a tie up with the Malaysian Cooperative Teachers’ Foundation (Koperasi Yayasan Guru Malaysian Berhad) on an upcoming special purchase scheme especially for teachers nationwide.

The special purchase scheme, still in its perliminary stage, is applicable on selected Peugeot variants, namely; the 308 and 408.

According Nasim’s COO Dato’ Sansom Anand George, Nasim will be offering the 408 2.0L, 408 Turbo, the 308 Turbo and 308 Griffe to members of the KYGMB as part of the company’s CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) program. “The offer is a gesture of gratitude to the whole teaching fraternity. Being a core CSR program of Nasim, we are proud to be selected as the preferred automotive partner of KYGMB,” Samson reiterated.

KYGMB’s Chairman Tan Sri Dato Hj Alimuddin bin Md Dom affirmed that the Foundation had selected the Peugeot marque due to a couple of outstanding sentiments; first, Peugeot has a long and illustrious history in the country, and secondly, Peugeot cars are designed very well and are fairly competitively priced. The chairperson believes that the new Peugeot special purchase scheme will garner positive response from the members of the teaching foundation.

The Peugeot easy payment scheme, along with attached benefits will soon be available at KYGMB. Members who are interested to place bookings for Peugeot cars can proceed to apply through a request order at KYGMB headquarters. To be eligible for this special purchase scheme, the teacher or individual must be a member of the KYGMB. The pilot promotion validity is slated to run from 7 October until 30 November. And, Nasim would later determine whether to extend the program upon expiration of the promo. period, based on a significant amount of take up through the organization’s 400,000 strong members.

A signing ceremony was completed by Ruslan Bin Madon, Secretatry of KYGMB and Nazman Yusof, General Manager of National Sales; witnessed by Alimuddin Lionel Faugeres, General Director for ASEAN Countries at Automobiles Peugeot, and Samson.

As of September, Nasim has expanded its Peugeot dealerships to 27 outlets nationwide, with new dealerships in Butterworth, Batu Pahat, Alor Setar, Kuala Terengganu, Georgetown and Nusajaya. There are four more Peugeot Sales and After-sales dealerships on the way for the remainder of the year.
