The DRB-Hicom Elite loyalty program card was initially introduced at the Alami Proton Carnival, held last weekend. All registrations received at the Carnival were entitled to 300 pre-loaded Elite points, offered as part of the Proton DRB-Hicom Elite Program.
The program is based on points collection and redemption. It aims to reward consumers with 1 Elite Point for every RM1 spent at any Proton outlets or participating merchants nationwide. As an Elite member, the attached advantages also include Home Assist, Lifestyle Assist and Concierge Assist, Accident and Breakdown Towing Assistance, Emergency Roadside Assistance and Discounts and Perks Redemption.
For Home Assist, members are entitled to request for assistance in issues like plumbing repairs, air-conditioning service and repairs, electrical wiring repairs, locksmith, cleaning of carpets, and pest control services, among others. For the Lifestyle Assist and Concierge Assist, members can seek assistance to hotel and restaurant reservations, golf tee-off reservations, flower deliveries, and ticketing.
As for the Discounts and Perks Redemption, members are entitled to a special discount of up to 30% on the published rate at selected hotels/resorts and Avis car rental, partners of MASA (Multi Automotive Service and Assist). Apart from that, members of the loyalty program are also entitled to a discount of 5% of the premium rate for motor insurance renewal made via DRB-HICOM Elite Program at MASA or a DRB-Hicom Berhad subsidiary.
