National carmakers Proton has announced the “Experience the Drive Contest”, a test drive initiative due to the sluggish economic conditions. The “Experience the Drive Contest” is meant to encourage customers to test drive Proton cars at dealership all over the country.
Proton hopes that the test drive campaign will help customers experience the various models available, namely the new Persona and Saga. At the same time, customers are able to discover a little bit more about the features available in Proton models, especially the active and passive safety features with 5-Star ASEAN NCAP ratings.
Through this test drive campaign customers who test drive Proton cars, at any of Proton showrooms or during roadshows, will be eligible to participate in our weekly and monthly contest and stand a chance to win petrol cards worth RM500 for the weekly contest and RM3,000 cash for the monthly contest.
The “Experience the Drive Contest‟ has started on 1 March and runs until the end of the year. It is easy to participate in the newest Proton campaign, interested parties are advised to visit any dealerships, test drive the cars, write a short creative caption or description of the test drive experience in 20 words or less. And, submit the contest form to the respective dealership and stand a chance to win the weekly or monthly prizes.
A total of RM7,000 worth of prizes to be won each month comprising 2 weekly winners of petrol cards worth RM500 each and a monthly winner of RM3,000 cash. Customers are also highly encouraged to use the MyProton mobile app for convenience to book for a test drive. MyProton mobile app will provide customers the convenience of selecting their preferred time, date and location of the test drive at their fingertips.
The first week of the Experience the Drive Contest saw 200 over entries and 2 weekly winners have been identified based on their most creative description of their drive experience. The winners of the inaugural week were, Mohamad Darulhisham and Saliza Ahmad.
Due to participation spike in the campaign, Proton will announce on a weekly basis on the winners after each contest week ends. Customers who have not test driven Proton cars are encouraged to visit the showrooms or for added convenience book sessions via the app.
