Rolls-Royce Malaysia, under the stewardship of Quill Motorcars, today presented the four-seater design, Super-Luxury Drophead Rolls-Royce Dawn at its headquarters in Petaling Jaya. The Rolls-Royce Dawn which comes with an estimated price tag of RM 4 million heralds a new chapter in the marque’s illustrious history.

At a glance. the Rolls-Royce Dawn is considered the sexiest, most social and most uncompromised of all super-luxury dropheads ever. Like a burst of sunshine, the Rolls-Royce Dawn dawns a new era of super-luxury motoring. The sensuous lines of the RR Dawn are evident. From the side, the steep rake of the windscreen, the swage line that flows over the rear haunches and the high beltline that rises along the profile give an impression of refined dynamism.

The Rolls-Royce Dawn is 80 percent unique body panels and comes with special tyres fitment. Unique to this RR model is open-top roof, which opens and closes in a little more than 20 seconds at a speed of up 50 km/h. The special fabric roof of the RR Dawn is deemed the quietest ever on a Convertible car. The other Rolls-Royce convertible that takes up the similar-type roof is none other than the Phantom Drophead. The multi-layered, foldaway roof on the Dawn is made up of Silver canvas and French Seam. Operating in complete silence in just 22 seconds, and at cruising speeds of up to 50 km/h this ‘Silent Ballet’ engages the majority of one’s senses as silence and seclusion are exchanged for the sounds, light and aromas of the outside world.

Rolls-Royce’s design ethos has created a cabin conveys all the hallmarks of the marque’s peerless craftsmanship combined with a philosophy of effortless, invigorating driving experience. The interior is finished in black and subtle tan leather, with Canadel open-pore veneer on the doors, dashboard and rear deck. Furthermore, Rolls-Royce Dawn offers exquisite options for wood on the deck and cosseting seats to suit individual taste. From the horse=shoe shape rear cabin to the ‘Waterfall’ between the rear seats, The Dawn promises a striking, seductive encounter like no other Rolls-Royce to date.

Dawn, the fourth distinctive model in the Rolls-Royce Motor Cars family, is powered by an effortlessly smooth 6.6-liter twin-turbocharged V12 engine.

The Rolls-Royce Dawn will be displayed at the Bangsar Shopping Center, from 22 – 24 July, for the public to get up, close and personal with the sexiest RR Drophead ever.
