Subaru exhibits a new range flagship models including the WRX STI, BRZ Coupe, facelifed XV, Levorg, Forester and Outback at the ongoing Paris Motor Show. The new Subaru Levorg GT-S Luxury Sports Tourer exhibited in Paris comes with EyeSight, the brand’s proprietary safety equipment.

The new Levorg GT-S Luxury offers more interior space with a boot capacity of 522 liters. Interior detailing has been upgraded with chrome satin bezels 3.5-inch instrument display, with lighting.


In terms of performance, the Levorg’s 1.6-liter BOXER engine, with auto start-stop, gives an output of 170 bhp and 250 Nm of torque. Fuel consumption is capped at 7.1l/100km. The engine is paired to a Lineartronic transmission with Subaru’s Intelligent Drive system,

The Subaru Forester, which debut at the Brussels Motor show in January, is one of the highlights in Paris. The new Forester adopts fresh stylings on the front grille and bumper. LED Headlights are made available for higher end Foresters, as well.

The Forester continues to utilize either the BOXER 2.0-liter petrol or BOXER diesel engine. The top-of-the-line Forester XT churns some 240 bhp, while the Forester powered by diesel engine enables an output of 147 bhp and 350 Nm of torque.

Next up is the Subaru Outback Crossover, equipped with EyeSight. The fifth-generation Subaru Outback has a restyled exterior and interior presentation, along with three engine options; 2.0D manual, 2.0D Lineartronic and 2.5i petrol Lineartronic.

The Subaru XV and WRX STi are the other main attractions at the Paris Motor show. The Subaru XV received new exterior and interior updates for the year. Exterior updates include front bumper with larger intakes, redesigned foglights, refined lower bumper, new wheels and rear LEDs.

On the inside, the cabin has been further refined thanks to the addition of a thicker steering wheel and orange stitching. Three BOXER engine options are valid for the XV, including 2.0D (147bhp/350Nm), only for European markets, 1.6-liter petrol and 2.0-liter petrol. All engines are matched to a symmetrical all-wheel transmission, with two types of center differential. At the same time, Active Torque Split AWD system is used for XV Lineartronic variants.
