Subaru Tecnica International (STI) has announced preliminary bookings for the Subaru XV Hybrid tS from 28 July in Japan. The Subaru XV Hybrid tS is slated to go on sale in the fourth quarter of the year.
Taking the Subaru XV Hybrid as its base, this complete car from STI features exclusive suspension tuning as well as distinctive exterior and interior design. The car has been developed with the goal to offer a feel-good experience in all road conditions and better driving skills to everyone who drives it.
Exterior-wise, the XV Hybrid tS takes up STI-designed front/side under spoiler with orange highlights for that aggressive stance. Furthermore, Dark gray-edged grille and fog light bezels with STI logo give the front end a certain dynamic look. At the side, the black door mirrors and roof spoiler with orange highlight further accentuate the profile of the XV Hybrid tS. More STI ornaments are found on the front and rear of the XV ybrid tS, including a tS emblem at the rear.
Moving to the inside, the Subaru SV Hybrid tS receives exclusive seats embossed with STI logo. The heated seats comprise of black leather, Ultrasuede, combined with orange stitching and orange/beige highlights. The front and rear head restraints also have orange stitching, Other highlights include an instrument panel with piano black and metallic offering a premium dashboard; Beige door trims with orange stitching; Orange-colored door armrests; and exclusive side sill plates with STI logo at the front.
In addition, the central instrument panel visor is covered in leather-finish material, plus leather-wrapped gear knob, steering, A/C controls; come with orange stitching, metallic trim finishers, piano black, STI emblems and orange bezels. The electric power steering incorporates rigid clamp stiffeners for a more responsive and tighter feel.
Handling performance and a high-quality ride are both achieved at a high level by the addition of original STI components including a flexible tower bar, STI-tuned dampers, coil springs and rigid clamp stiffeners. Special design elements serve to heighten driver anticipation and the joy of ownership.
