|ETCM (Edaran Tan Chong Motor) today announced the updated Nissan Navara that’s available in two versions; the Navara 4WD A/T LE and the 4WD M/T SE.|
Also known as the “Mother-Trucker”, the Nissan Navara first came about in 2008 and has been a formidable truck to Nissan close rivals’ trucks.
2013 Nissan Navara gets new exterior and interior elements
On the exterior, the 2013 Nissan Navara picks up a new chrome front grille with new bumper and fog lights. Two-tone multi-spoke wheels are added to spruce the truck up. Besides, the lower intake and angular corners are intended to make the truck a bit more muscular to appease 4X4 and pick-up enthusiasts.
The updated Nissan Navara takes up an 6-inch infotainment touchscreen unit with Navigation and rear view camera. The unit plays DVDs and connects with iPod, USB and Bluetooth devices. As reversing a truck can be rather cumbersome most of the time, the Navara’s rear view camera should ease the driver, whether in reversing or parking the Mother- Trucker.
The Mother-Trucker Navara is powered by a fuel efficient 2.5 liter YD25DDTi Common Rail Injection Diesel Engine, producing the highest torque for its capacity. Mated to either a 5-speed automatic transmission or a 6-speed manual, the Nissan Navara is bound to please both regular drivers and off-roaders.
With safety in mind, the Nissan Navara is equipped with a tough, double-layered high-tensile metal frame, Zone Body construction, as well as HID (Xenon) headlamps to ensure the best possible driving vision during the night. Other standard safety features include; Electronic Brake Force Distribution (EBD), Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) and SRS dual front airbags.

The Nissan Navara is available in four colors: Tungsten Silver, Brilliant White, Twilight Grey and Diamond Black.
